Holding a Master’s Degree in economics from the University of Basle, Aline currently is on a leave in Washington D.C. Formerly, she was a lecturer and project manager at IFZ Institute for Financial Services Zug/Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Aline teached at the Swiss Accounting Academy and lectured 2000-2001 at the Highschool in Olten. With her Master thesis on ”The Situation of the Swiss Cantonal Banks among semi-public and private Companies”, Aline developed a profound understanding of the Swiss banking sector. Aline is currently working on her Ph.D. dissertation on “Value Reporting of Banks” and she is the proud mother of Mara and Lina Müller.
