Gabrielle holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Berne, a Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Master in Economics and Business Administration from University of Berne. After her doctorate studies, she spent two years at the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley. Today, she is a Professor at the IFZ Institute for Financial Services Zug of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Gabrielle has published in the fields of corporate finance, industrial organization and health economics, and she has lectured at various institutions in

and outside Switzerland. She is also a member of the European Economic Association, the Verein für Sozialpolitik and the Swiss Society of Economics and Statistics.  Besides her academic work, Gabrielle has extensive consulting experience for various organizations such as Interface, Pro Infirmis Zurich, Zurcher Kantonalbank, Swiss Federal Statistical Office and Luxembourg Income Study (LIS). She is co-owner of a consulting company and has many years of operational experience in running a trade company. Gabrielle is married and a passionate sailor.
